Todd Fitch and Sergio Gomez led the team of professional scoreboard installers today to install the legendary Calligraphy Board at the AT&T Pebble Beach Golf Tournament. The Calligraphy board is a very special part of the event, largely due to the effort that it takes to keep it current/accurate. In most of today’s sporting events you will find spectators looking at electronic screens to capture the day’s happening and player results. The Calligraphy board is a work of art and is updated with beautiful Calligraphy handwriting to capture the essence of how a player performed.
This style of record keeping brings the audience back to the day’s when golf was first organized. It is a real treat and one that is often over looked during the event at Pebble Beach.
