Food & Wine Event Orders Lexus Logo Screen lexushpos.jpg

We are doing more and more customized “logo screens” for customers that want more than just green or black screen to cover the temporary fence that we install. They are asking for ideas that will create a more personalized feeling for the people that walk into the event and display sponsors that are significant or have some special purpose for that special day.

Lexus is one of those special sponsors for this year’s Food and Wine Event at Pebble Beach. As soon as participants walk into the venue they will be surrounded by the Lexus logo and products.

The screen is a brand new black Elite 85 screen made by CI Fabrics out of Southern California. JT Lawson of CI Fabrics recommended a white logo to give it that extra punch. I think that the new screen looks really sharp and that the folks down at Pebble Beach will be impressed.

The Pro Am Golf Tournament is over, but people are still sharing their great Monterey experience!

This years AT&T Golf Event at Pebble Beach drew record crowds. A week of heaven sent weather that made the event extra special.

We met people from all around the San Francisco Bay Area and many mentioned that the energy of the ocean, warm wind, and sunshine put smiles on the faces of most spectators. The best weather was definitely seen on the final days, Saturday & Sunday.

The feedback was that the golf courses were in excellent condition. The announcers of the television broadcast repeatedly said, “…they are in the best shape I have ever seen”.

Along with the manicured lawns of Pebble Beach, Poppy Hills & Spanish Bay, were the friendly staff and employees of all three world class facilities. This year is going to be hard to beat and now it is time to take all the tents, temporary fencing, and grand stands down for another day!

att-047.jpgTodd Fitch and Sergio Gomez led the team of professional scoreboard installers today to install the legendary Calligraphy Board at the AT&T Pebble Beach Golf Tournament. The Calligraphy board is a very special part of the event, largely due to the effort that it takes to keep it current/accurate. In most of today’s sporting events you will find spectators looking at electronic screens to capture the day’s happening and player results. The Calligraphy board is a work of art and is updated with beautiful Calligraphy handwriting to capture the essence of how a player performed.

This style of record keeping brings the audience back to the day’s when golf was first organized. It is a real treat and one that is often over looked during the event at Pebble Beach.

monterey california golfHanson & Fitch Temporary Site Services is currently installing temporary fence on and around (3) three golf courses on the Monterey Peninsula for the up and coming AT&T Golf Event.

The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am is a 72-hole PGA TOUR golf championship dating back to the 1930’s when Bing Crosby gathered a ‘few friends’ to raise money for charity… and have a little fun.

Monterey and Pebble Beach are known for golf. Stunning views, exclusive clubs, prime real estate and incredible landscapes have long attracted the rich and famous. The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro AM is played in the first months of pebble beach golfeach new year and is a hot ticket for tourists. Golf greats like Phil Mickelson. Vijay Singh, Justin Leonard and others play the Pebble Beach Links as well as celebrities like Kevin Costner, Al Michaels, Kenny G, Dan Marino and other notables.

A premiere event like this that will be televised worldwide receives the same attention to detail and customer service as every other job we do. The wind and storms have made this installation more difficult than in years past, primarily due to the high wind that comes off of the ocean. We have had to send crews out to reinstall fence from the prior day and in some cases more than once to the same site.
